Scott Kuenneke is an expert in Trauma, Neurofeedback, quantitative electroencephalography (qEEG) Brain maps, and Brainspotting. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology and religious studies with a masters in Mental Health Counseling. He dedicated his studies to learning about brain-based interventions for mental health while researching the impact meditation and mindfulness practices have on the nervous system. He is a senior fellow with the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA), and has been practicing neurofeedback for over 16 years. He has spent the last 7 and a half years at a residential treatment facility for complex developmental trauma using Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Brainspotting and Neurotherapy. In his role at the facility, Scott oversaw all aspects of neurofeedback and qEEG brain maps for assessment and treatment, along with supporting new therapist to develop their skills in Brainspotting & DDP. Currently he is the owner of Neuro-Empathic Counseling. His interest is in helping the Lake Ozark and Jefferson City Missouri communities overcome their mental health challenges using Neurotherapy and Mental health interventions.
