  • Episode 6 - Cyberpunk'd
    Feb 8 2021

Unknown Exploits is BACK after a little hiatus with an *even less* structured approach to discussing video games! Rather than a single, long episode a month focused around one game, our plan is to do more regular episodes in which we discuss the latest things we've been playing, complaining about how X/Y/Z aspect of video games was better when we were kids and going off on a fair few tangents along the way.

This week we discuss how Dave's opinion on Ghosts of Tsushima has completely turned around, what Tom & Sam make of the PS5 so far, a lengthy discussion about the mess that is Cyberpunk 2077 and round it out with our favourite games of 2020.

Basically, it's everything we should have discussed weeks ago..!

  • Episode 5 - Ghost of Tsushima
    Sep 28 2020

In this month's episode we deep dive into Sucker Punch's open world samurai epic on PlayStation 4, Ghost of Tsushima. We talk about the ups and downs of the gameplay, the visuals and the narrative, and even squeeze a bit of poetry reading in to close out the show.

We also talk about the latest PS5 and Xbox Series X showcases and ponder what impact the launch strategies of Sony and Microsoft will have on those all important early sales, as well as discussing the glimpses we saw of both Demon's Souls and Final Fantasy XVI. Finally we close out the show with Dave revealing what next month's game will be.

  • Episode 4 - The Last of Us Part II
    Aug 24 2020

We need to talk about Ellie.

In this episode we dive into a spoiler filled discussion of one of the most hyped and divisive games of this console generation, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Part II. Like the fanbase at large we all seem to have different views on the merits of this game, which we go into in great detail. We also discuss the impact the original The Last of Us had on us and speculate on what comes next for the series.

There's also the usual preamble about recent gaming news and the reveal of what next month's game will be!
