  • Michael Gershe is the episode guest. In his first eight weeks of life, he almost lost his when the family car was hit by a drunk driver. His mother unfortunately died from her injuries and Micael incurred severe trauma to his skull and nearly all his bones were broken. He suffered years of physical, mental and emotional trauma, from the incident.

    He has just recently turned 53 years old and is thankful for his existence. He has founded a nonprofit organization Call "The Magic of Life, "that focuses on drunk driving awareness. He is an administrator at Kent State University, a photographer, motivational speaker, comedian, and book author. 

    Michael uses his past and present experiences of trauma and grief to educate people in the dangers of drunk driving. Although losing his mother, whom he never got to know, he honors her daily through his foundation and outreach work. He work with his counties justice department and court system to provide programs and speaks publicly to different organizations
