UK/Arkansas Recap & SEC Tournament Preview

  • Summary

  • On today’s episode we’re going to break down the Wildcats big time win over Arkansas on Saturday and then preview the SEC tournament this weekend down in Nashville.

We’ll start with the Cats win down in Fayetteville as they beat the Razorbacks by a final score of 88-79. You could tell from tip off there was a different energy in the building and that the stakes had been raised.

Elbows were flying, technical fouls were called, someone got tossed… so basically a normal trip for Kentucky in Bud Walton Arena.

What wasn’t normal was the fact that Cason Wallace sat on the end of the bench in street clothes due to his ankle injury suffered against Vanderbilt.

The Wildcats went point guard by committee as they relied mostly on Jacob Toppin & Antonio Reeves to handle Cason’s duties.

The two of them stepped up along with Oscar Tshiebwe in order to navigate through some rough water on Saturday.
