The Bruins are struggling to make progress with their offense despite early season struggles. The Blake Baker lead defense will be looking for an opportunity to bounce back and make up for a rough start early.

    The Green Wave have given K-State and Oklahoma all they wanted but could not find victory. The Cajuns will be coming off a bye week after convincing victories against Grambling and Kennesaw St. The winner will keep a dream of a playoff birth alive, while the losing squad will have to recoup and focus on conference play to come.


    The LA Tech Bulldogs were surprising in their game against NC ST but fell short as the game wore down. The Bulldogs face easier competition at home against the Golden Hurricanes. With some new confidence under their belt this could be the start of a win streak for the Bulldogs.

    The Saints are ready to get the season underway against the Carolina Panthers. In a season where every win will play a major impact on the playoff chances Dennis Allen's team must take advantage of opportunities like Week 1. The Saints are favored but a challenging slate will come over the following 4 games. If the Saints want to still be in the hunt in October a week one win could point them in the right direction.

    Tulane is ready to host another big name team at Yulman Stadium as ranked K-State is coming to Uptown. The Wildcats are the opportunity coach Jon Sumrall has been eyeing to test his team. Will the QB questions be answered in this game are will we continue to see action from multiple quarterbacks.

    LSU is looking to rebound after their opening loss. The Tigers need to get out to a lead early and get experience for not only their starters but now new players such as Caden Durham and Ju'Juan Johnson who may be seeing significant playing time at the running back position. Brian Kelly knows that his team will rebound from their loss. However it will be up to the players to determine if the energy will be there to put away Nichols early and allow critical snaps for down roster players.
