Invented in Buffalo, the electric chair and the executions done in Upstate New York would set the standard for the capital punishment used throughout the U.S. into present day. These are the stories of five men with different paths who were all were condemned to die in a machine that sent 1,000 or more volts through a person’s body for up to 3 minutes.
