  • Janis Winehouse is mother to arguably the most gifted artist of her generation, Amy Winehouse. Janis is now 64 and has been suffering with MS for 40 years. She is a fully qualified pharmacist. Janis was born in Brooklyn New York but returned to the UK as a young child where she was raised in Hackney, East London. Janis is mother to Alex and Amy. She is the Co-founder of the Amy Winehouse Foundation, and an ambassador for the MS Society.

    Richard Collins is 68 and he was born and bred in Hackney, London. Richard is a cancer survivor and has used his experience to set up a cancer support group, is also a proud trustee of the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Richard lives with Janis and their two cats in Barnet.
