• The AC/DC Show 7/24/25
    Jul 25 2025

Recorded on the day another hard rock giant passed away, Rich and Danny wax poetic about the hard rock Australian band from Scotland. Despite the fact that there is a little bickering (mild by their standards), they agree on the fact that neither of AC/DC’s singers was better than the other, and both eras of the band have great merit. All in all, it’s a pretty fair and balanced show. Even if Angus and Malcolm Young are both ugly as sin.

  • The Blondie Show 7/17/25
    Jul 17 2025

Back together in the studio for the first time in weeks, Rich and Danny belatedly celebrate Debbie Harry’s 80th (!) birthday with a show devoted to her groundbreaking band, Blondie. Do you want proof that Daniel G. Moir is all about the music, and nothing else? Rich tries several times to talk about how beautiful Debbie Harry is, and each time Danny shrugs it off with a comment about the use of a Major 7th chord in the bridge of one of their songs, or how Chris Stein got his guitar tone. Danny just has a different outlook on life than most of us. Again, it’s like he’s Canadian.

  • The Southern Rock Show 6/19/25
    Jun 19 2025

This week, to celebrate his birthday, Rich invites his wife Annie back onto the show as they talk about the music she grew up on and Rich’s surprising, but deep love for Southern Rock. Not a lot more to say than that, but if you’re the guy in the back yelling “FREE BIRD!,” the bartenders have been instructed to cut you off. Thanks y’all.

A while back, Rich asked Danny if he would have any interest in doing a Heart show. Danny declined. So, Rich reached out to the guys’ spiritual big brother, Mike Stiles, who readily agreed. So, tonight, Rich and Mike team up to do a song about one of the greatest classic rock bands of them all.

  • The British Invasion Throwdown Show with special guest Tim McNiff 6/5/25
    Jun 5 2025

Rich and Danny are joined by former Twin Cities newsman, fixture on KYMN in the morning and all round super hero Tim McNiff, for a friendly debate. The music that came from the United Kingdom in the 1960’s, was the best music being made in the world. Right…?That is the position taken by our guy Tim, while Danny and Rich counter with some truly wonderful music that was made right her in the U.S. during that same time. You’re going to want to give this a listen and then weigh in on this.

  • The Beach Boys & Brian Wilson Show 5/29/25
    May 29 2025

With Memorial Day a few days behind us, it is officially summer. So what better way to kick the summer off than with a show about The Beach Boys. One of the hosts is admittedly not as fond of the band as the other, but Rich still finds a lot about the Beach Boys to love, especially talking about how much he really dislikes Mike Love. The music is terrific, they get to explore the true genius of Brian Wilson, and Rich gets to rip a guy he finds to be totally vile. It’s the perfect summer show!

  • The Devo Show 5/22/25
    May 22 2025

This week, Rich and Danny take a deep dive in to the weird, devolved, techno world of Devo. There’s nothing else to say. You can’t translate robotic movements to the written word. It is recommended that you listen to this show while wearing your red energy dome and a sleeveless turtleneck with the collar pulled up to your nose.

  • The Huey Lewis & The News Show 5/15/25
    May 15 2025

Rich and Danny spend more than an hour-and-a-half digging into the brilliant music made by Huey Lewis & The News. They explore the nuances and attention to detail for which the band was famous. They discuss the groups undeniable influence on all pop music over the past thirty years, and even select their favorite bands of the 21st century that they see as the heirs apparent to the Huey Lewis & The News legacy. Okay, none of that is true, but the guys do celebrate Huey Lewis & The News as the everyman band that hit it big.
