The Passing of a Loved One

  • Summary

  • Hello Everyone and Welcome back to The Beard and The Bun Podcast: Writer's Wednesday Edition.

This week's piece is titled, "The Passing of a Loved One" by The Beard himself in 2013.

Summary: This is my recollection of the events that transpired leading up to when my grandmother Jackie passed away.

Jackie, also known as "Nanny," was the glue that held my dad's side of the family together. Her hospitality and level of caring for all of those around her was truly inspiring and has played a huge role in everything I do today. Now, You may be wondering why I felt the need to share this paper with you, as it may be uncomfortable for some to hear.

Simply put, I wanted to share this with all of you to show the impact that Nanny had on my life, as well to encourage everyone to carry out any unfulfilled promises they may have made in their lives.

As Always, if you found value within this episode, please share it with your family friends, and coworkers!

ATTENTION WRITERS/POETS: If you or anyone you know have papers, stories or anything you deem worth sharing with the world, please submit them to our website/email linked below and we will glady share them on our show!
