The Neurophysiology of Yoga with Ellie Grace

  • Summary

  • Ellie Grace is a trauma informed yoga educator with an MA in Yoga Studies - who lectures medical undergraduates in the neurophysiology of yoga to nurture their personal development and prevent burnout - which has never been more important. Doctors are experiencing workplace burnout at the highest ever levels recorded, with findings from the regulator’s 2022 (national training survey) revealing that 39 per cent of junior doctors reported experiencing burnout to a high or very high degree because of their work, up six percentage points on the previous year. And this is of course - not just affecting doctors. Ellie works with war veterans, schools and corporates and many more seeking to create sustainable, human centred cultures inspired by yoga ethics and trains yoga teachers in trauma informed approaches to create social change.
