Today let’s talk about a classic. You’ll Never Find a Love Like Mine.

You’ll Never Find a Love Like Mine song by the incredible Lou Rawls. The song was written by the talented duo, Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff and shines brightly on his 1976 album all things in time.

Lous smooth, soulful voice takes you on a journey of love and longing. The song beautifully expresses the idea that true love is rare and unforgettable-something that everyone dreams of finding with its lush orchestration and heartfelt lyrics. It’s no wonder this song has become a favorite for many.

The song proved to be Rawls' breakthrough hit, reaching number 1 on both the R&B and Easy Listening charts as well as number 4 on the dance chart and number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100. This was the first and only time that one of Rawls' records reached Billboard's pop Top Ten.

The single went on to sell over a million copies and was certified gold by the RIAA.

Dancing Queen is still a song the airwaves today by the Swedish group ABBA, released as the lead single from their fourth studio album arrival in 1976. It was a worldwide hit. It became ABBA’s only number one hit in the U.S. and top the charts in Australia, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands, South Africa, and many other countries. It was ABBA’s only number one on the billboard hot 100.

The song was accompanied by a music video filmed in 1976 the music video features all four members of ABBA singing and performing to dancing club patrons. The music video on YouTube had over 800 million views for December 2023. The video was remastered and ultra-high definition in August 2021 to celebrate the 500 million view milestone.

Angel in your arms was a 1977 top 10 hit for the group Hot and also a top 10 country hit in 1985 for Barbara Mandrell. And right now today that song is playing like it's still a hit. I heard it a few weeks ago. It was Hot’s lead singer Gwen Owens who requested the group be given a country song. The group was a trio consisting of Owens, Kathy Carson, and Juanita Curiel. I love how their voices blended when they were singing together.

In my opinion, Angel In Your Arms is a song still remembered and is still a lasting song. How many songs today can last as long? The group Hot? The group Hot had strength. And Angel In Your Arms was a million selling hit.
