On Sunday, May 1st, 2005 around 2:45 am, Aetna Hose and Ladder firefighters responded to calls reporting smoke at 81 Thorn Lane, located at The Towne Court Apartments in Newark, Delaware. There, they found the bound and strangled body of University of Delaware college student, Lindsey Bonistall in a bathtub.
