On today’s episode, I had a candid conversation with an old-school friend of mine named Vernell Jackson. In this conversation, we discussed the simplistic mind of a man as pertains to relationships and marriage and how men and women interact with each other. I enjoyed this conversation because it opened my eyes to a lot of different things as it relates to the opposite sex that I never really considered or even took the time to care about. Hopefully, men and women will find interest in this particular topic, and hopefully, it will do something to help improve your current situation, whether you are married, dating, single, or just trying to feel your way through life. For this week’s Motherhood episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing a good friend, who goes by Auria and on Instagram, TheMamaYogi. Not only does she work a 9 to 5, but Auria is also an entrepreneur and a professional yoga instructor who curates a monthly Women in Wellness event. Her highest achievement has been becoming a mother. In our interview, we discuss what it is like to become a mother. Our relationships with our children, how we as women evolved when we have children, and how they make us better people. We acknowledge being unable to do everything ourselves and needing our tribe. We also share how we both discovered that unexpected surprises bring immense joy and a lifetime of love.

This is Part 2 of my Miscellaneous Moments episode where Winifred @writingbywinifred on Instagram and, I get into the details of her career path, her self-titled podcast W.I.N.I.F.R.E.D., and the purpose of her book, The Toxic Job Playbook: A Survival Guide for the Workforce, which can be found on Amazon. We talk about my experience when applying for my "Dream job" and we discuss the future of my first novel currently in the works.

This is a Re-Launch of The Less Than Perfect Podcast but the mission and purpose are the same which is to provide a platform where we as women can discuss all things related to motherhood, marriage, and all of life's miscellaneous moments. I wanted to provide a space where women of all ages and from all walks of life can come unwind, unravel, share some of the lessons they've learned, and speak their truth about the things that matter to them.

I hope that this podcast will be a place where we can gain and share knowledge and find value in each other’s life experiences. However, this time around I hope to on occasion add a male perspective to the mix when we discuss topics relating to marriage. I believe this will help to give women more insight into their relationships and marriages because I too have come face-to-face with some harsh realities as it pertains to my own marriage.

It is my intention to add value, perspective, and optimism to this thing we call life.
