    After a tough year professionally, I started experiencing crushing anxiety that left me feeling on-edge any time I'd get in my car to go somewhere. Even at home, I'd feel overwhelmed and like a shell of myself. Racing thoughts, uncontrollable heart palpitations, and constant fear of something bad about to happen to me. All of these symptoms didn't make sense to me until I started doing regular therapy. Months later, I still have anxiety, but my toolbox for dealing with the mental and physical symptoms is enhanced.
