• The Impact of Stress

  • Summary

  • In this episode we share few fundamentals we teach in the BREATHE Program:

    • We are all bio-individual – one woman’s pleasure is another’s poison.
    • The energy we give to nourishing things ‘off the plate’ override what we’re actually eating:
      • Relationships
      • Career
      • Spirituality
      • Physical Exercise

    We can’t avoid stress altogether.

But we can incorporate daily practices into our lives that will not only help to cope with our current stress levels, but also prevent long-term effects on our health and wellbeing, such as:

    • Eating clean wholefoods
    • Getting adequate sleep
    • Reducing the intake of ultra-processed foods and caffeine
    • Leaning into the yin of self-care

If you would like to unpack ways to support yourself through self-care activities, we’ve included in the show notes a tool we walk our clients through in the BREATHE Program.

It’s called “The Yin and Yang of Self-Compassion” and helps you map actions you can take to nurture masculine and feminine aspects of yourself in times of stress.

It's a free download, no need to add your email address, just hit the button and enjoy understanding this method of self-care at a deeper level.
