The Hoopsters NBL1 Central Basketball Show - Ep #37 - 02 August 2023

  • Summary

  • It is was our 18th episode for the season, and tonight Bevo and Jake were flying solo. We did get the chance to have a chat to Mollie McKendrick from the Southern Tigers about their big win on Saturday night. We talked about what went right in comparison to their first final, how to ensure everyone stays confident in big games and how they plan on turning around their recent struggles against the Norwood Flames.

Lachlan Olbrich from the West Adelaide Bearcats also joined us to talk about their nail-biting loss to the Forestville Eagles on Sunday. We asked him what didn’t go right for them and what needs to change against Sturt this weekend. We also had a chat about how he has felt being back in Australia in the NBL1 Central and moving into the NBL post season.

All this, plus we reviewed the weekend’s games and looked ahead to preview two massive preliminary finals.

The Hoopsters is on every Wednesday night from 7pm to 8pm on Radio Italia Uno 87.6FM, via https://www.italiauno.com.au/or via the Radio Italia Uno app.
