  • Summary

  • Welcome to The Hood Soft Life Podcast. Let's keep it real growing up in the Hood is hard, but what's harder is leaving it behind. It almost feels like a tug of war between who you were and who you're becoming.
There's so many challenges that don't get talked about until people have made it out and have it all figured out, but where are the people who are on the journey struggling right now? I created this Podcast to bring you nothing but the realness of growing up and out of the Hood.
I'm taking y'all on my journey as I go through the struggles and learn some major lessons on the path to my dream life. I want all my people to succeed, especially those from the hood so this podcast is for anyone looking to build a soft life. I can't wait to go on this journey with y'all. Imma catch y'all in the first episode. Your girl, Sabrina✌🏾

  • Ep 1: Life Updates & Mental Health
    Oct 16 2024
What’s up y’all. Welcome back to The Hood Soft Life Podcast. We are moving on to Season 2. Last time I came on here I was telling you about my acceptance into grad school and my life was about to change. I took some time off to rest, focus on my move, and get adjusted to my new life in DC! So since we’re on a new journey it’s time for a new season. This season we are going to be focusing heavily on mental health but there will still be discussions outside of that realm. In this episode I am giving you a life update and sharing my struggles with my mental health since I moved. As always I will share some of the things that have been helping me and some advice for anyone who is also struggling. I hope y’all enjoy the episode and as always I’ll catch y’all in the next one. ✨Affirmation for the week: It is okay to fall and to take a break because I know I will get up again.
