The Great Depression of 2020

  • Summary

  • This week we are talking about Depression, the 2020 kind. We have been noticing on ALL social platforms how much everyone is talking about how hard it is right now. We have regular depression, hanging out with seasonal, pandemic, election, and add a dash of anxiety and it's just been A LOT. Admittedly, we squirrel about TikTok, but Kristy still can't let go of her moment going viral and it being taken away, but we have to have some laughs now and again. We have been reading some books lately, to try and pull us out of this rough patch. Athena is reading "Untamed" by Glennon Doyle, "Girl Boss" by Sophia Amoruso, among others in her stack. Kristy started with "The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read' by Philippa Perry but quirky realized it was a bit to much for the time and moved over to "Carry On Warrior" by Glennon Doyle and also has a stack to get through. Kristy has a playlist on Apple Music 'Wish You Pain' that she is adding to as she finds music that speaks to her during this journey. We also just want to remind everyone that Kendall, our guest from last episode, has a very supportive Facebook for anyone that just needs someone to talk to. 2020 has been rough and we just want you to know that you are not alone.
