• Women gone Wise?
    Jun 12 2023

On the 3rd episode of the Podcast Mark addresses some concerns that Proverbs as a book should be directed at women. In this discussion, he explains that while the original context of the book is one of a king and queen addressing a prince, that doesn't mean the wisdom is limited in its application. The Bible is for everyone and Proverbs is no exception.

  • The Victory According to Mark
    May 29 2023

In this episode, Mark talks about working on his commentary on Mark's Gospel which was published with Cannon Press and recently was republished. He talks about his influences and what contribution he thinks it makes and walks Calvin and the audience through the double cycles used through the Gospel. It is a longer conversation packed with valuable information about Mark's Gospel that hopefully unlocks more of the book for readers.

There is a Biblical way to see self-control and an unhelpful/unbiblical way that can be harmful. Is it simply a question of the mind enslaving the body? Why is this issue so important today? Join us as we unpack some of these questions.
