Very few eye witnesses to the atrocities of the death camps are still alive today. Some of the tales David 'Dickie' Groenteman shares about his 3 years as a prisoner at Auschwitz, Mauthausen and the other camps are harrowing but there are also moments of hope. Dickie wants you to hear what he endured, so that humanity may learn from its evil past.

If you’d like to see photos and hear more about Dickie and all of the character’s that played a role in his incredible life story follow Stories Told on Instagram and Facebook @storiestoldau.

If you recognise any of the names of key characters from these tales or are a relative of one of them, Dickie and his family would love to hear from you so get in touch with me via email - mac@storiestold.com.au.
