    Dr. Singleton serves as a Pediatric Hematologist, Director of MCAM’s Hemophilia Treatment Center and as Division Chief, Pediatric Hematology. Dr. Singleton will work out of MCAM’s new Slidell, Louisiana office location and will focus on serving children and adults with Hemophilia and Sickle Cell Disease across Louisiana and the Mississippi Coast. A Louisiana native, Dr. Singleton is a Cum Laude graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans for her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and the Louisiana State University School of Medicine - New Orleans for her Medical Degree (M.D.).

    She completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Medical Center and her Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine/National Cancer Institute combined training program. Dr. Singleton also completed a Baxter/National Hemophilia Foundation fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine and is board certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics. Prior to joining MCAM, she spent six years at Louisiana State University School of Medicine/Children’s Hospital of New Orleans in their Pediatric Hematology/Oncology division and the last eleven years in Tulane’s Pediatric Hematology division, Sickle Cell Center of Southern Louisiana and the Louisiana Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders.

    Dr. Singleton has authored numerous publications, served as a subject matter expert speaker around the world, and as the principal investigator on numerous studies pertaining to Hemophilia. Dr. Singleton treats adults and children with rare hematological conditions with a focus on transitional care. She also has significant training and expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound in hemophilia patients. She is currently an Ambassador for the American Society of Hematology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cycling, fishing, and cooking.
