  • Episode 12: Alex Galbally
    Jul 7 2022

My guest this week is Alex Galbally. Daddy to triplet girls, Annabella, Florence and Lottie, husband to Charlotte, Father to Henry and their youngest son, Jimmy. Alex has been documenting his life as a dad, mostly on Instagram following the birth of their girls just over five years ago. In our conversation, we spoke about their first pregnancy with Henry and why he felt that pregnancy happened at the right time in his life. The moment he found out that he was going to be a Dad to triplets and the challenges that came with a multiple pregnancy, why he's chosen to continue working full time in his day job alongside the work he does on social media and why, more recently, he's decided to talk so openly about his mental health struggles and how this has helped him personally, as well as others that follow him. His no nonsense, say it as it is approach was actually really refreshing to hear. This is the The Diary of a Dad Podcast.

  • Episode 11: Axel Blake
    Jun 24 2022

My guest this week is Axel Blake, father of two, his 13 year old son from a previous relationship, and his two year old daughter that he has with his current fiancé Louise. In recent weeks he has shot to fame after being crowned as the winner Britain's Got Talent. Having known Axel through his work on the comedy circuit for over ten years, I'm immensely proud of him for this latest achievement. It was so nice to finally be able to sit down and have a chat with him about his parenthood journey so far. In the conversation, we spoke about his introduction to fatherhood and his thoughts and feelings around that time. How he tried to balance his career in comedy whilst co-parenting his young son. How he coped with the recent lockdown, and how that affected his parenting style and the lessons that he learnt. As well as his goals for the future, off the back of what is now an historic Britain's Got Talent win. This is The Diary of a Dad Podcast.

    Jun 16 2022

My guest this week is Tay Kabs. Father of three to Teija, Maliya and TJ, and husband to Chan, who are all most commonly known across social media as The Kabs Family. Like many I've been watching their hilarious video clips shared across social media for many years and started following them as they documented their family life across Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube. In our chat we spoke about how his and Chan's relationship as childhood sweethearts began, and the challenges that they faced becoming teenage parents. How he quickly adapted to his role as a new Father and what it meant to him. How he balances everyday family life alongside his social media career, and how a health scare last year has really made him think about what matters the most... This is The Diary of a Dad Podcast.
