    Politics:
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN: Biden is focusing on ads in which he is rallying his core base. And Trump is hitting the campaign trail where current polling doesn’t have him doing so well.

Biden made his comeback in the Democratic primary because of the black American vote in South Carolina and Biden never looked back. The black American vote did not show up for Clinton and was one of many factors in why she lost. Biden is not taking the risk and he is doing anything he can and spending a lot of money and panting a picture for black Americans that they cannot vote for Trump. Ads and lots of them seem to be the strategy for Biden as he really doesn’t leave his house or the state of Delaware. That could hurt Biden in the end, if he doesn’t go out and campaign.

President Trump is taking more of the opposite approach. Hitting the campaign trail, meeting potential voters, and spending less on ads. Trump is going through the Midwest to remind them of the strong economy before the coronavirus which is his go-to strategy. COVID has changed the game and the economy is hurting a lot. But Trump is out to say and prove that he can do it again. That he can get America back to the economy super-low unemployment and more if he gets reelected.

Right now Biden is leading in most polls and in some by a lot. Early voting will surely help Biden, but there is still a good amount of time left. And anything can happen. If COVID goes away, if Biden stays locked up at home, and the debate. There are a lot of factors left to play out.

  • The New Space Race: Billionaires building the future
    Jul 30 2021

If the human species wants to survive, grow, and be better then we need to start expanding to our planets.  It's really that simple. And there are a good amount of super-rich people that think the same. Enter Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Richard Branson.

When it comes to the space race the conversation begins with the end goal. Colonizing Mars. I think there are about six steps to colonizing mars if I were to break this down in the most simplistic way possible.

    1)    The biggest issue. And btw every time we reach a new step it will be the biggest issue. Anyways it's all about getting there. The technology, the duration of the flight, our spacecraft good enough, and the list goes on with the myriad of problems from construction a space ship, lift off, flying 235.54 million miles, and landing safely. Like that undertaking alone is absolutely insane for where humans collectively are now.

    a.    Fortunately there are a few companies out there and countries that really want to do this. SpaceX, Blue Origin, Virgin Galactic, The Chinese, the Russians, the EU, and of course the U.S.A. we’ll cover more specifics of each of these later.

    b.    The point being, it's going to happen. The tech will get there, the spacecraft will get there, and there are humans that want to go. Musk remains “highly confident” that SpaceX will land humans on Mars by 2026, saying last December that it's an achievable goal “about six years from now.” He added that SpaceX plans to send a Starship rocket without a crew “in two years.”

    2)    Next, Building infrastructure:

    a.    Transportation: more than just humans, stuff to build and building in less gravity (38% of earth's gravity) and .13% oxygen compared to earth. And then there’s constructing buildings. New building tech will need to be created

    3) Self-Sufficient: ...

    International Affairs: The Beirut Explosion

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN: I want to say first that I am covering this only a few hours after the explosion happened. Meaning that a lot more information could be released by the time of the recording of the podcast and its airing. But I will carry on. The first thought was a terrorist attack, next thought was a major country dropped a bomb, third thought it was an internal accident, fourth thought I was sad. If you haven’t seen the clip of the explosion please do. It is hard to comprehend the first few times you watch it.

But at this moment in time, the number of dead and injured have not been tallied as rescuers are still searching for bodies, but the hospitals are at max capacity. I want to focus on what caused the massive explosion. There was a mushroom cloud so its hard to believe a fire broke out or a gas leak or anything that could regularly happen in a building. From the video, it seems that a lot of explosives were needed to cause it.

So why, that has to be the next logical question to ask. Why would someone do this and who? I have no desire to speculate, but the questions are probably being asked and I wouldn’t be surprised if the answer to what or who caused this was released in the next 24-48 hours.

No matter what, this is a terrible incident and a sad day for Lebanon.
