The Chaser Report

By: The Chaser
  • Summary

  • Are you sick of news you can trust? For over 200 years, The Chaser has been the world's leading source of news you can't trust.

The Chaser Report offers a satirical look at Australian and world news and culture, along with occasional confessions of parenting and business failures, the latter often involving an amusingly large number of unsold avocado pool toys.

The show is hosted each day by two of the satirical comedy group’s co-founders, Charles Firth and Dom Knight, along with occasional cameos from more talented, less available Chaser colleagues.

    Mar 6 2025

Sami Shah is one of our favourite regular guests on The Chaser Report, so we thought we'd share this incredible interview he did with Amanda Tattersall on the ChangeMakers Podcast about what got him started in satire and why he believes comedy can be used to change what people think.

  • The Future Is Luddite
    Mar 5 2025

Charles is fascinated by a lot of things in today's episode, including the AI language 'Gibberlink', techno-fascism, Cybertrucks, and becoming a luddite. Dom plays the role of a good friend who is willing to let Charles talk about his interests, all while being skeptical of the topic's ability to last the length of the podcast.

Have you ever accidentally died while taking a selfie? As Dom reports, it's more common than you think. Meanwhile Apple is under fire for an awkward technical glitch that puts the "politically correct" into "autocorrect". Plus Charles has discovered the utopia of possibilities when you don't use your phone for 24/7 a day.
