Sunny and Fluffy go back in time and eat Rascal and Toby's butter stash, causing Rascal and Toby to get expelled from Miss Demeanor's school, and keeping the kittens from ever building the Emote Control.

Sunny and Fluffy take first the Pig Red Cheep, then a tank, and then the Cheep once again in order to finally get to Tom Thompson's Time Travelers  Incorporated of Misery, Missouri, in order to get themselves a time machine.

The Emoted Plague begins to spread, eventually getting to everyone in the world except for Boocat, Sunny, and Fluffy, and Sunny and Fluffy Google a way to stop it.

Rascal, Sunny, and Fluffy are let out of school early and interfere with Boocat's failing Zoom meeting with the Neptunian generals.
