  • Bad Doctor Rant: recent mistakes by a pediatrician, obstetrician, GP, and psychiatrist.
    Oct 5 2025

Storytime of some recent mistakes by a pediatrician, obstetrician, GP, and psychiatrist. Not all doctors are bad. Please share all your symptoms with good doctors who will ask questions to figure things out. Even with a good doctor, take more responsibility of your health by asking questions.

Use drugs.com or your pharmacist to learn about your drugs. Use DSM 5 to check psychiatric diagnoses.

  • Chronic traumatic Encephalopathy CTE and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy HBOT: William Person interview
    Sep 28 2025

William is a former 9-year Team USA Bobsledder whose life was upended by the very real, often-misunderstood symptoms of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE), an issue tragically familiar to both athletes and military veterans. What makes CTE especially cruel is that it’s only diagnosed after death, but while alive, sufferers lose their quality of life and sense of self. William went through debilitating confusion, depression, even losing his way in his own neighborhood.Turning point came when he tried Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), something he discovered after everything else failed. Almost immediately, his symptoms eased. Now, William is on an urgent mission: to open a nonprofit CTE Recovery Center using HBOT and other therapies, completely free for athletes and veterans who desperately need interventions but can’t afford them. He’s asking the public to help through his GoFundMe campaign (https://gofund.me/93ff9c6e).

  • Are Chiropractors and other health professionals scamming you?
    Aug 31 2025

There is a lot of subtlety to this video. Botox works sometimes, chiropractic adjustments work sometimes and can help loosen up before rehab or combined with muscle work, some hip problems do actually require hip replacements, etc... but these things are not always the best management, and some things may be done more for financial gain.Even regularly visiting your chiropractor could be nice... but it irks me when it is presented as a cure-all and as a requirement to be healthy.I didn't get into it, but even something like cranial therapy, the chiro/osteopathic explanation is pseudoscience but the treatment can be great. If someone comes in asking for a destressing, relaxing session, I use it. I also use it for some headaches, particularly concussion and sinus headaches to great effect sometimes. If I start it and the patient feels less tension or they feel they are breathing more clearly or thinking more clearly, then I continue, if it isn't doing anything for them I stop.... I don't tell them they need 12 sessions for it to work.....For more resources and information about myself and my services check out https://www.DrRamakko.comYou can also search for my book on Amazon: "Pain is Not a Life Sentence: A Guide to Understanding and Eliminating Chronic Muscle, Joint, and Nerve Pain". https://books2read.com/ap/xM7Kek/Brandon-RamakkoMy ultrasound course for MDs, DOs, DCs, and physiotherapists: https://msk-pocus-training.trainercentralsite.com

  • Why you should seek out a DIANM specialist doctor for nerve, muscle, and/or joint problems
    Aug 10 2025

DIANM doctors and non-surgical neuromusculoskeletal medicine specialists. It is a relatively new specialty and involves mostly chiropractors but some medical doctors as well. The DIANM credential is open to DC, MD, DO, and ND doctors.Just because they have the credential doesn't give any guarantee. I wish I could treat all patients myself. Frustratingly right now I'm not seeing any patients but I hope to soon again.

  • "exponential growth" and "proportional" improper use rant
    Aug 3 2025

Words should have meaning and when words are incorrectly used that becomes the new definition. I hate when exponential and proportional are not used according to their original math definition.

  • YouTube sucks rant - Why don't I get recommendations from creators I want to see?
    Jul 27 2025

YouTube doesn't recommend creators anymore. Algorithms don't seem to be helping people find content they want to see.

  • HR gets this wrong for remote work: Remote workers don't require sponsorship
    Jul 20 2025

HR gets this wrong for remote work: Remote workers don't require sponsorship. They technically have to follow the rules of their home country. You can hire them as independent contractors easily. If you hire them as employees, there may be complications but Employers of record (EOR) can handle the complexity for you. It is nonsensical to sponsor someone for a work visa if they are never going to be working in that country.

  • Inflammation isn't bad for you (sometimes)
    Jul 13 2025

Inflammation can be bad if the inflammation is attacking your body like in an auto-immune condition. It is normal and necessary to fight illness and to recover from an injury. This is basically an excerpt from my injury book which isn't done yet.... I know.. I know... I think I've only worked on it for a day in the past year. I'll finish it eventually.
