  • On September 15, 2020, the Abraham Accords were signed between the United Arab Emirates, Israel and the United States. Recently, to commemorate the first anniversary of the signing of the accords and to discuss their significance, an event was held at the Wilson Center in Washington, DC. hosted by their Middle East Program. Opening remarks were made by the head of the Wilson Center, Ambassador Mark Green and Congressman Ted Deutch, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Jim Jeffries, head of the Middle East program at the Wilson Center.
