Terravista Vineyards with Nadine Kinvig (Okanagan Valley, Canada)

  • Summary

  • We're off to a country making some incredible wines - Canada! I'm constantly surprised by the depth and calibre of wines being made in Canada. Quality is second to nobody, the range of varietals being planted, nurtured and made into premium wines is similar to any leading region in the wine world and the skill of the winemakers is world class. What i'm no longer surprised to hear is "What! Canada makes wines!" Yes... they do, and oh boy... you need to get amongst it!

In this episode, Ross Anderson chats with Nadine Kinvig from Terravista Vineyards in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. TerraVista specialises in a range of alternative white wines and white blends. Nadine Kinvig – TerraVista’s winemaker has been at the helm and applying her deft touch to these beautifully crafted aromatic wines since 2019.

2022 was the second time that Terravista had participated in the Global Fine Wine Challenge, representing the top 120 wines produced in Canada and going up against the finest from the other New World Participating Nations… and they did incredibly well. We explore a range of topics including alternate varietals, sustainability and Nadine's love of hard rock and heavy (French) metal!!
