    For the past 8 years, Antoinette has worked with young people aged just 18-25 who come to Merchants Quay. The aim of the Young Person's programme is to enable young people to address the core problems in their lives, link in with training, education and employment services, make a swift exit from homeless services, and move forward with a new purpose.

Greg, who works directly with clients in homelessness and addiction, discusses the Open Access Services provided at MQI's Riverbank Centre, and the clients who rely on them. We also look at the increase in people becoming homeless for the first time as a result of the housing crisis and the rising cost of living.

    MQI's Riverbank Centre provides free food, showers, healthcare, mental healthcare, harm reduction, a dentist and key-working. Located on Merchants Quay in Dublin 8, the service is open 6 days a week. For more information, visit www.mqi.ie
