With GMAS coming around the corner the fellas step to the mic for a very motivated show today. Jeff, Nagi, and Antoine get the show started with a game of “Alphabet Aerobics” centered all around what to do this summer. Donny comes in just in the nick of time to end the warm up with a bang! After the announcements and a special shout out to all teachers for teacher’s appreciation week the fellas get the academic discussion going! This week the fellas discuss two essential questions…1.) Is what drove you to teaching the same thing that keeps you in teaching?...2.) Is there a difference between motivation and ambition? After the discussion wraps, Antoine opens up the teacher’s lounge and the good times roll! The data dig brings up some important information on who might be more responsible for sparking motivation in students. The SEL moment ends the show on a high note as we are reminded about the road going forward. Make sure to follow us on IG: @talesofthetwopercent. On Twitter: @MrTotp. Apr 13 2023

With Spring Break 2023 in full swing, the fellas take it back to episode 18 before they hit the road for break. Jeff, Antoine, Nagi, and Donny get things started with a game of “Alphabet Aerobics” for the warm-up that is sure to have you hitting the vending machine early. After Donny gives us the announcements the 2% head straight into academic discussion. Today’s main question; Is teacher isolation just part of the job? The guys meet up with Antoine in the teacher’s lounge next to talk about what generation their students think they really are a part of, and then Nagi helps to break down the data showing the effects that teacher isolation is having on educators. Before the gang heads to the pep rally the SEL moment drops off a few words that many of us need to hear.

  • Episode 29: “They call me Mr. Clean Cut”
    Apr 6 2023

With Spring Break right around the corner the fellas crank it up and kick it only like the 2% can! Donny, Antoine, and Jeff hold it down with Nagi away and get the show popping with the warm-up and an interesting game of “Scattergories”. Donny gives us the announcements and then the learning target for today’s show. Following that the crew gets the academic discussion started and begs to ask the question… “How important is image?” When the conversation wraps Antoine leads the crew in the teacher’s lounge confessions that will have you checking your motives when you make groups in class. Jeff takes over the data dig and the articles force the fellas to take a good look at if anything can really be done to change the public perception of black men. In this world that tells us that so many things are impossible the SEL moment for today reminds us that nothing really is impossible.
