Tonight's Episode of Let's Talk About It is a very special meeting with author, poet, and documentarian Mario Finesse Wright. Lehman College Students Paul Williams and Destini Belton along with Lehman College English Professor Mariposa Fernandez speak frankly and candidly with Mr. Wright about his life from early childhood to the present. Mr. Wright is the Author of Poetic Freedom - Born A Caged Bird and The Janitor - a children's book among other titles. Mr. Wright was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey - a tough city. These students grew up in the shadow of Yankee Stadium, the Bronx's most iconic landmark. The new stadium opened in 2009, in what used to be a public park. As a condition of using public land - and getting all kinds of assistance from the city and state - the team was supposed to give something back to the community. These students investigate whether the Yankees kept their promise.
