Desde muy pequeño sabía que quería ser deportista y, como para ganarse el chance hay que comprarlo, Daniel se metió a cuatro deportes. Poco a poco las circunstancias fueron definiendo su camino: ser uno de los mejores marchistas de Ecuador. Ahora se prepara para ser el segundo medallista olímpico de su país.
