  • Summary

  • There are a diverse array of pathways in medicine, with dozens of specialties and subspecialties available.

However, the tried and trusted college training path does not suit everyone.

Joining me today are Virginia Cotta and Fiona Robertson, who for their own reasons chose a different direction, building very successful careers as Surgical Assistants.  Virgina is a full time VMO surgical assistant with interests in plastics, microsurgery and robotic assisted surgery, while Fiona is a former GP, who combines surgical assisting with a passion for writing.
