Hi friends! We finally get smacked by this storm we've been watching for a week and what a ride it is. From scrubbing bilges to full moon parties on deck, the storm was largely uneventful. After the blow, we rent a car and check out the island - and the most fun party at Shirley's Heights! After that we jump a ferry to Barbuda the beautiful!

Heyo! This week is no stranger to the roller coaster of living on the water. We have such an amazing experience in Dominica, get SMASHED by a house of a boat in the middle of the night, scooter around the saints of Guadeloupe, have one of the best sails of the season, and now prepare for a nasty blow in Antingua.

Dominica is UNREAL! For real, it is. We get thrown right into the activities of Portsmouth at the Cruisers BBQ and meet an amazing couple - Lea and Marc - and spend some quality time exploring the island. From hot waterfalls to beautiful red rocks, Chocolate factories to getting invited over for coconut water drinks with some locals. Dominica has a big part of our heart <3

Ahoy there! This week on Sommer Wind, we've got boat guests adding a splash of excitement to our New Year celebrations with both new and old friends. Our adventure down the beach takes an unexpected turn as our new friends come to the rescue from dengue fever. We have a lot of anchorage shuffling, a close call with a tarantula, and the discovery of the world's most AMAZING kebab. Oh, and Travis learns just how French he wishes he was! Welcome to our holiday adventure! This week was an absolute delight as we explored the stunning landscapes of St. Lucia. We hopped into our rental car and embarked on an adventure to Sugar Beach, indulging in the scenic views and local culture. Embracing the holiday season, we hosted a Christmas party, and danced the night away at the Gros Islet Street Party in Rodney Bay. Our celebrations continued as we set sail to Martinique, where we savored an array of foreign dishes in the company of newfound friends and sang karaoke, making this Christmas one for the books! 🎉🎄🌟

Welcome back! This week, our exploration takes us to mainland St. Vincent—an absolutely breathtaking island where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed! We check out Moonhole and have a fun night experiencing the floating bar and a game night on Sommer Wind, which resulted in a slight deviation from our original plan as we missed our departure date from Bequia. However, we quickly adapted and chose to embark on an adventurous climb up Ma'Peggy before setting sail for the beautiful island of St. Lucia!

In our ongoing nautical journey, this week we enjoy the delights of Tobago Cays, our favorite anchorage in the Caribbean. Moving onward, our voyage led us to Mayreau, where we learn the impact of cruise ships on local communities. Our passage to Bequia was wet and wild! Complete with DOLPHINS, squalls, and a soaked bed. Upon arriving, we endured a rolly anchorage, had a beach BBQ, and found the elusive “Cinnamon Garden.”
