  • I wrote this poem after a particularly hard day that I had cried. A quote came to my head by Eleanore Roosevelt, "Women are like teabags. You don't know how strong they are until you put them in hot water." At that moment I realized it wasn't the lack of difficulties around me that made me strong, but rather my willingness to keep facing them.
