Having served seven of a ten year sentence in the toughest and meanest Florida State Prison from 17 to 24 years old for a foolish high school mistake, Steve determined from his prison cell that he either had to get up or give up.

There in that dark dangerous cell as a teenager having witnessed the horrors of prison life, he made a decision that dramatically changed the trajectory of his life and gave him a powerful spiritual awakening.

Steve prayed and asked Jesus to come into his life.

His friend, NFL Superbowl Champion Coach Tony Dungy keeps a copy of Steve's book in his personal library to loan out often to his home Bible Study friends.
