Welcome back to episode four of the SteeleCraft podcast! In today's episode, I take you through the technical side of my content creation setup, breaking down the numerous tools I utilize for a streamlined process.
We'll delve into a behind-the-scenes glimpse of my podcast production — everything from physical equipment such as my Sony ZVE10 camera, Elgato HD60X video card, and Shure SM7B microphone, to software tools like Descript and Hootsuite. I also touch on why investing in a quality microphone and preamp is essential and how a functional audio interface like the Scarlett Focusrite 18i8 contributes to my setup.
With a shift from the green screen to my homely desk setup, I discuss why I favor the cleaner, easier production. While discussing my various tools, I also talk about how we can automate processes to spend less time on manual tasks and more time on actual content creation.
The second half of the episode delves into the automation process that I utilize to publish content across multiple platforms, from YouTube, Podcasts, Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest, down to LinkedIn and Instagram Reels. I reveal how to automate thumbnail creation, social media posting, and even how to convert one video into multiple pieces of written content via ChatGPT — all in a day's work.
I firmly believe in the mantra, "Execution over Perfection," and in the spirit of that, I also touch upon the realities of fostering realistic content creation expectations. Remember, everyone starts somewhere, and refining and perfecting come as you grow.
Hop aboard as I guide through my content creation journey, aiming to provide an easy-to-follow guide for aspiring content creators, with a system that makes the process a breeze.
