After an introduction by David Hamilton, EPOCH times editor Jan Jekielik and BRIG. GEN. Robert Spalding discuss Near Peer Competitors and Threats, specifically, the People's Republic of China. First, there is the issue of China's potential invasion of Taiwan, which has been a topic of concern for many. Secondly, they discuss the banning of TikTok, which is seen as a weapon of the Chinese regime. 
These two issues have sparked a lot of debate and controversy, with people taking various sides on each matter. The potential invasion of Taiwan is a particularly sensitive topic as it has far-reaching implications for the stability of the region and could have significant geopolitical consequences. Meanwhile, the banning of TikTok has been seen as a measure to limit the spread of propaganda by the Chinese government. 
Overall, the discussion around these two issues reflects the broader tensions that exist between China and the rest of the world.
