We went all the way back ton 1975 for this one. And it's a little untraditional for a "slasher" movie. We covered "Mary, Mary, Bloody Mary." It's the story of Mary (really?) who is a talented painter living in Mexico. The only catch is that Mary likes to drink blood. Is she a vampire? Not really. Is there some sort of magical reason she drinks blood then? No, she just likes it....a lot. So how does she maintain her blood-drinking habit without getting caught killing people? Easy, get someone else to take the blame.

We're back with Season 10 of SlashU. What a wonderful ride it has been. We're hot off the January break and diving right into a Valentine's Day slasher movie. It's "Lovers' Lane" from 2000. It's the story of a famous makeout spot, where a couple people were killed 13 years ago. Now it seems the killer is back and targeting the children of his victims. This one tries to have some twists and turns that don't necessarily land. But it's got Anna Faris before she starred in the "Scary Movie" franchise. Check it out! We also have an interview with Samantha talking about the upcoming Spooky Frog Horror Book Fair here in Milwaukee. It's a celebration of independent Horror authors from around the Midwest complete with vendors selling cool horror merch, as well as food, drinks, and music! It promises to be a fun time for all, especially horror/slasher enthusiasts.

It's our final new episode of 2024. We're wrapping up our annual SlashYule holiday tradition with one more "Christmas movie." We've covered the first two so we have to hit part 3. It's "Terrifier 3." We'll go over all of Art the Clown's antics as he continues to terrorize Sienna and Jonathon Shaw and the other residents of Miles County. This one got a little more supernatural, and the over-the-top gore can be a turn off for some. But if you're a fan of slasher/horror, it's a must-watch.

It's an annual tradition here at SlashU that we have to cover the Silent Night, Deadly Night series.
