He has served as Director of the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse at the World Health Organization (WHO) for 20 years, authored 350+ academic papers, and received the prestigious Leon Eisenberg Award from Harvard Medical School.


    In the conversation, we talked about Professor Saxena’s life journey as a psychiatrist, his experience at WHO, mental health breakthroughs during catastrophes, political and industrial challenges in the Mental health field, and much more.
