First and foremost, Lynee’ was not irritated this week at all, but Jerrilyn still was. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ then discussed the presidential debate between VP Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump. They also spoke about the second assassination attempt on Trump’s life and when would you take the hint that maybe you should try to get another job than the one that is trying to kill you.

    The big news of the week is the arrest of Bad Boy founder, Sean 'Diddy' Combs. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ discussed how it took so long for this arrest to happen and how other people stood by and did nothing as Diddy ruled with an iron fist, allegedly. They also discussed how black women should be protected by black men, but they are not. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ also switch to a more light-hearted conversation about Shannon Sharpe exposing a little too much on IG Live.

Like last week’s episode, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ must talk about another death in hip-hop. Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan passed away at the age of 34. They criticized the women that posted their relationship with Rich Homie Quan, but he was in a long relationship with his girlfriend of fifteen years. They also talk about celebrities who promote drugs and violence in their music.

    Jerrilyn and Lynee’ then shift to discussing two recent school shootings and question why warning signs were ignored. There were two school shootings last week, one being a mass shooting in Winder, GA and the other being in Joppatowne, MD. They highlight the over-policing of schools and the lack of action taken to prevent such tragedies. The hosts discuss the importance of understanding mental health and its role in behavior, as well as the need for stricter gun policies and better evaluation processes for gun ownership. They also express their frustration with Brian McKnight, who neglects his children from his first marriage. Now with him celebrating his new family, he is starting a fatherhood series on IG Live. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ also talk about the potential rise of robot companions instead of human beings. During Sista to Sista, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ talk about overcoming imposter syndrome in professional settings. Newton, who has eight children by three women, says that he wants more children, but does not want to be married. Dr. Bryant held back no punches and neither did Jerrilyn and Lynee’. They discuss the importance of being intentional about parenthood and the impact of having multiple children with different partners.

    Jerrilyn took a trip to Chicago for the DNC. Lynee’ and Jerrilyn discussed the DNC, and they emphasized the importance of not voting based on identity alone and the need to make informed decisions. They also discussed the political pandering from both sides, and the importance of doing research before forming opinions. They also explore the impact of growing up with or without a father in the household and how it can shape one's perspective on relationships. The conversation then shifts to the controversy surrounding Russell Simmons and his request for forgiveness despite the allegations against him.
