  • Sharib fue separado de su hermana melliza, Saidi, cuando unos ladrones se la robaron. Eran apenas unas crías.

    Desde entonces, Sharib está triste y no para de buscar a su hermana en el desierto, hasta que un día, él se pierde y pasa muchos días sin agua ni comida. Pero Jamal, un viejo y bonachón vendedor de telas lo encuentra y lo lleva a vivir con él. Al poco tiempo, Sharib se hace amigo de un suricato llamado Fadi, quien lo ayuda a buscar a su hermana, al igual que Jamal. Mientras tanto, Sharib se convierte en un gran corredor y gana muchas carreras en el desierto.

    Un día, gracias a la ayuda de Fadi, se enteran de que unos ladrones tienen a Saidi y de que piensan acudir a la Gran Carrera anual de Camellos para robar el trofeo que ganará el campeón: una gran copa de oro.
