  • Welcome to Memphis
    Mar 24 2024

On today's episode, we're wandering through the history and hauntings of my new home, Memphis, Tennessee. I love it here, as I've mentioned approximately a million times. I give a high-level overview of the history of Memphis and some of the haunted places that can be found here, including the Orpheum Theatre, the Woodruff-Fontaine House, and Ernestine & Hazel's. I plan to do more in-depth episodes about all of these places, but here's a taste of the history and ghosties.

  • New podcaster terror
    Mar 18 2024

Today I'm talking about how stage fright, imposter syndrome, and my generally dickish brain all conspired to try and stop me from starting or returning to Sh*t That Scares Me. and how my love of the medium brought me back. I also shout out a few of my favorite podcasts.

  • A conversation about addiction
    Feb 8 2024

In this week's episode, we're talking about something I've been scared of most of my life: addiction. My partner, Rory, was kind enough to tell us about his experience as an alcoholic and what his recovery journey has been like. I learned a lot about his life before we met and what it's like for him in recovery. If anyone listening is struggling with addiction, please know that you don't have to live like this, and help is available.
