Sex and the City Book Review (with Just May)

  • Summary

  • Originally written by Candace Bushnell, Sex and the City is a book that takes excerpts from Bushnell’s infamous column in the New York Observer. We will be taking themes of the book and looking at these through a modern lens.

Today we have RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Just May to help us delve into the book and review it by comparing the series to the book, looking at the themes which we will break down and referencing our own dating and hookup habits.

As we reflect on how different our attitudes are to the book, we’ll see how differently we’re approaching dating compared to previous generations and new generations.
