  • Homesteading goals are a lot different than regular goals. You can be that type A goal setter, but you will burn out before you can ever truly enjoy the bounty.

    Our first year homesteading, I was a type A goal setter. But I realized very quickly that setting a ton of HUGE goals for the homestead lead to frustration and burnout.

    Because on a homestead, you are dealing with a lot of outside factors. Things like animals not having babies, gardens not producing, experience and knowledge and more.

    In 2024, our goals are simple but easy to manage. They allow us to push the needle towards our 5 and 10 year goals without burning us out.
