Season 4 - Episode 7 - Garry Blye

  • Summary

  • One of the greatest comedy writers and producers, Canada’s Allan Blye, died earlier this month. Recently I had a chance to speak with his brother Garry, another successful writer/producer, about Allan’s Emmy award winning work with the Smothers Brothers, Dick Van Dyke, Bob Einstein, Sonny and Cher, and his close friendship with Elvis Presley, and Mr. Rogers. He also shared stories of Allan’s passion for music, especially as a cantor. Brought to you by @TomsPlaceTO and @ETPCanada.
