In this episode, we bring you an exclusive one-hour special highlighting this year’s CAAMFest. First, we speak to Director and Producer, Erica Tanamachi and Executive Producer, Diane Quon, about their documentary Home Court. CAAM-funded Home Court is a story of an All-American baller Ashley Chea following her pursuit of college level hoop dreams. In the three years this film follows her, we witness the highs and lows of her Cambodian immigrant family’s experiences in America. It will have its Bay Area premiere on May 12th at 12:30pm at the Great Star Theater in San Francisco as part of CAAMFest 2024. We then talk to Thúy Trần who is the Festival and Exhibitions Director of CAAMFest about this year’s program. Be sure to buy your tickets now to CAAMFest 2024 kicking off this week, May 9-19 at https://caamfest.com/.
