S3 Ep12: AAPI Heritage Month

  • Summary

  • Asian American Pacific Islander Month is observed in May. We dive deep into cross Cultural Solidarity within the AAPI community with Swati Narayan, Daya's Director of AAPI Community and Belonging.

Daya is a Houston nonprofit organization that empower South Asian Survivors of Domestic and Sexual Violence through culturally specific services and educate the community in an effort to end the cycle of abuse. Daya provides free and confidential services to victims of sexual violence - whether that violence is current or past and whether the perpetrator is a spouse, dating partner, family member or stranger.
