In this episode you'll hear: How they both got involved with rope. Safety for getting started, because rope play is one of the most dangerous forms of kink. Why you should avoid cotton rope for suspensions (but it's great for decorative ties). Nylon is much different than cotton (and nylon is great for water scenes along with polyester). 6mm and wider is a better choice to mitigate damage. No rope is "safe". Mx. Knotty loves Jute! Rope Safety for new riggers and rope tops! START SLOW. Start with basics. Leave dynamics at the door for a minute to prioritize safety.
