  • Barbara Bullard, Managing Member of B-Bullard LLC, is an entrepreneur, publicist, writer, and producer serving as a social innovator and catalyst for cultural transformation.   Her path began in marketing and production for agencies such as Lintas Worldwide and HBO.  Deciding to start a family, she shifted focus to the nonprofit sector, using her skills for organizations such as Lincoln Center Productions, the Arthur Ashe Foundation, USTA, and the United Nations NGO Gray Panthers.  Working to restore Shirley Chisholm's legacy for almost two decades, Barbara produced the national unveiling of the Shirley Chisholm Forever Stamp in collaboration with the USPS, for which she received a Presidential Proclamation by President Barak Obama. She produced an event on women and politics with the NYC Mayors Office and serves as President of the Shirley Chisholm Cultural Institute, dedicated to the continuation of Chisholm’s legacy.  As a publicist for the iconic Billie Holiday Theatre, Barbara worked on productions such as Hero, by actor Omari Hardwick and Def Poetry Jam Reunion, featuring legendary poet, Sonia Sanchez.  Barbara’s firm, is also the creator of Marginalized Voices and Media, providing a platform for voices to be heard in art and media, in collaboration with the Congressional Media Caucus.    

       

    As an author of RE LEASE + BE COME, Barbara is sought after by art advocates, corporations, and policymakers to present healing and social justice conversations on equity, cultural inclusivity, and community engagement.
